On December 27, 1953 - The Detroit Lions won NFL Championship in 17 years, defeating the Browns 17-7 in the title game, December 28. The 21st NFL Championship Game was held at Briggs Stadium in Detroit vs Clevelands Browns. Dedication to my friend #51 Vince Banonis. Remembering #22 Bobby Layne. The Lions have won four National Football League championships. They secured victory against the New York Giants in 1935, and defeated the Cleveland Browns in 1952, 1953, and 1957

My husband and I were part of Breakfast Club and if I remember in my many conversations with Vince and wife he was paid $1,200.00 for Win1953 NFL Championship and no ring until the1990's. When he received the Super Bowl ring he was absolutely thrilled!
I started this painting three (3) years ago, would put the painting down after losses. I just feel it time for another NFL Championship. Go Detroit Lions 2023 - 2024 ♥!

franchise claimed what was then known as the NFC Central.
* January 21, 2024 - The Detroit Lions versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Sunday's 31-23 win over Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
*The Detroit Lions train is on their way to San Francisco 49ers.
Sunday, January 28, 2024 Time - 6:30 pm.
Results - Detroit Lions 31 defeated by San Francisco 49ers - 34
Final 2024 - an exciting season and can't wait for new season "The Roar of the Detroit Lions"!
